The tasting adventure starts with delicious Arabic pizza and homemade souvlaki. Have questions? Here's the most frequently asked.

Do we only walk around and sample food?

Absolutely not! Our tours combine commentary, historical facts, local culture and culinary insight into unique 3-6 hour experiences. You’ll be guided through Sydney’s best kept secret suburbs, eating local artisans’ most delicious foods while learning about food, culture, and history from local guides.

Someone in my group did not arrive, can I get a refund?

No, you can only cancel or change tickets up to 7 days before the tour.

What do we do in case of bad weather?

The tours are held rain or shine. In the event of a heat wave warning, we may cancel tours if the forecast is around 40c. In the event of inclement weather, we will be able to go inside many of the establishments on the tour.

We advise to check the weather conditions for your day’s event and dress appropriately.

Are children allowed?

Yes! Our tours are family friendly. Children under 5 can attend for free and we have kid tickets (for 5-11 year olds) and youth tickets (12-18) available. All children and youth must be accompanied by an adult.

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

Please be sure and let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian, diabetic, allergy, etc.) when you purchase your tickets. As long as we know in advance, we may be able to accommodate your needs. We note what allergies that we are not able to manage in the tour descriptions.

The Taste Food tour of Bankstown exceeded our expectations and left us keen to go back to Bankstown We visited Lebanese, Vietnamese, an Asian grocer and a Greek charcuterie. We all got to try foods we'd never had before. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Full marks!
